Today (around lunch time) our Station 2 responded to Cornelius for a working house fire in the 19800 Block of Madison Village Drive. Cornelius Fire (Engine 2) was on scene first with heavy fire showing from a garage, and added Davidson Station 2, our Station 1 and Mt Mourne to the box. The fire, originating in the garage, quickly spread to the main area of the home and then quickly translated to the attic. The fire had a head start on us all.  Through aggressive interior firefighting and a total of 5 lines in operation off Cornelius Engine 2, the fire was quickly cut off and controlled. The home of origin sustained extensive fire, smoke and water damage as well as the Bravo exposure (adjacent home) that sustained radiant heat damage. All North Town Companies worked very well together (Cornelius, Davidson and Huntersville).

Big thanks to Paul Lof Fire Photography for some of these great photos. Check them out HERE on his Facebook page.
