Following expert, public health guidance and recommendations regarding COVID-19. The Huntersville Fire Department (HFD) is suspending all fire station visits, including previously arranged fire station visits, until mid-April.
This is an extra, protective measure to ensure our friends, neighbors and community members remain safe and healthy.
As you know, HFD also responds to medical calls within our community. While we utilize the recommended Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow strict first responder guidelines provided by EMS clinicians, we feel this temporary suspension of fire station visits is an added step that will ensure any and all potential visitors remain safe and healthy.
We absolutely love our community visits and anticipate that we’ll eventually be back to normal in the near future. In the meantime, we remain on duty, 24/7 at all four of our fire stations and somewhat lonely without you! #OneTownOneTeam #HuntersvilleFD #COVID19
