As Engine 3 and Ladder 1 worked to gain access to the pinned patient Medicsarrived on location and began to assess the patients condition. Shortly thereafterit was determined that the pinned driver had suffered significant lifethreatening injuries as a result of the collision and was pronounced dead atthe scene.
