Good Afternoon,
Asst. Chief Maier and the committee wanted to give a quick update on the progress of the refurb of our Rescue 1. Yesterday they traveled to Taylorsville and picked up Rescue 1 from Anchor Richey where they have finished their portion of the refurb process.

The truck is back at station 1 for the weekend and Monday it will be picked up by a hauling company and transported to O-H-I-O to be delivered to Fire and Marine Inc (FMI). While in their facility, FMI will be tackling the compartments and redesigning how equipment is stored on the truck. Due to the truck being at Anchor Richey longer than we expected it to be, the delay has affected where our spot in line was at FMI so we are no looking at a return date in February.
The truck looks amazing and we are grateful to Asst. Chief Maier and the committee for all of their hard work.
