Worked a 24 hour shift at Station 1 and had a very eventful day. We visited a local school and taught some amazing kids about fire safety, E11 performed a standpipe test at a new complex being built in the north end of town, then we tested some hydrants around town. Between all of those things we made sure to run a few fire calls to fill out the day.
We grabbed some pics around the station and also some that show the growth going on right behind the station.
Station 1 can be pretty hectic at times but the members of HFD are always up to the task. Below you can see Engineer Micun putting trusty Engine 11 back in the station after a late call. As always, THANK YOU to all of our firefighters for the work that they do each day!
