With the July 4th Holiday rapidly approaching; we wanted to take a few minutes to discuss fireworks safety. We ALWAYS recommend leaving Fireworks to the experts.
Some facts: Fireworks start an average of 18,500 fires each year, including 1,300 structure fires, 300 vehicle fires and nearly 17,000 other fires. In 2017, over 12,000 people were injured by fireworks. Last year, right here in Town, we had a house fire related to the improper disposal of fireworks.
