It is the mission of Huntersville Fire Department to protect lives and property through a comprehensive program of fire suppression, fire prevention; public education; rescue; extrication and EMS first responder services to the community.
The Department is committed to providing the highest level of service and professionalism to the residents and visitors of Huntersville and the surrounding communities by ensuring all members and employees receive the highest level of training and continuing education.
The Huntersville Fire Department does not inspect nor install car seats. However, we partner with the Huntersville Police Department who have certified inspector/installers.
If you wish to have a child safety seat installed or inspected, please contact HPD directly at 704-464-5400, or check our calendar for monthly events where we host the HPD for inspections/installs at our Fire Station 4.
We’re looking to recruit volunteer members who live within the Huntersville Fire service district.
Interested applicants should email: email@example.com expressing your interest in membership. The applicant will be sent a follow-up email with the pre-agility test forms and the dates of the Fire Department Applicant Physical Agility Test.
