Earlier this morning Stations 1, 2 and Cornelius-Lemley Fire Rescue responded to a working fire at an abandoned house, in the woods, behind the Papa Johns just off Statesville Road. The house was heavily involved with fire on arrival. The Mecklenburg County Fire Marshal is investigating the Fire Cause and origin. Thanks to Cornelius-Lemley Fire Rescue, the Huntersville Police Department and Mecklenburg EMS Agency – Medic for the assistance.
