Just a few facts to share about YOUR Huntersville Fire Department for 2019!
In 2019 we responded to 6,734 calls for service. That is a 3% increase in call volume over 2018. Our average response time for ALL call for service was 5 minutes, 51 seconds (emergency and non-emergency combined). On average, we were out the door (left the fire station) in just over 1 minute.
August was our busiest month with 681 total responses. Station 1 was our busiest Station with 3,674 calls for service.
Station breakdown:
- Fire Station 1: 3,674 calls for service
- Fire Station 2: 1,342 calls for service
- Fire Station 3: 530 calls for service
- Fire Station 4: 1,188 calls for service
We are proud of this performance, especially considering that we are a part-time / volunteer fire department servicing a community with a population close to 60k. We are VERY thankful for our volunteer/members! We are so thankful for our supportive community. Everyday we are reminded how lucky we are!
