FYI folks...this is near our Station 1!Charlotte Water needs to have a contractor excavate to perform a point repair on a failing sewer pipe in the intersection of Old Statesville Rd and Gilead Rd in Huntersville. This will necessitate closing the eastbound lane of Huntersville-Concord/Gilead Rd at the intersection and detouring traffic south to E Greenway St and east to S Maxwell Ave. Traffic can be maintained in other directions by use of lane shifts.
